Here at our domestic appliance repair training centre, we offer the UK’s largest City & Guilds and CPD Accredited domestic appliance repair training in-person courses for both new entrants and for current engineers wanting to expand their skill-sets or retrain.
For people who want to become appliance repair engineers and don’t have the background or training yet, our most popular appliance repair training course is the 10 Day Foundation Training because it gives you a snapshot of everything all in one intensive 10-day sitting.
From health and safety to plumbing and installation to cycles of appliances to individual components, we’ll cover washing machines, tumble / condenser and heat pump dryers, dishwashers, electric cookers / ovens & hobs, microwaves and fridge freezers.
At the end of the course you’ll not only have a good grounding across the board in appliance repairs in terms of both theory and practical guidance, but you’ll also be CPD accredited with the option to register for City & Guilds Assured Accreditation, (subject to a £90+VAT Registration and Administration fee).
Another hugely popular appliance repair training course is our Refrigeration Training, which gives current engineers everything they need to know to add fridges and freezers to their repertoire after two days of intensive theoretical and hands-on instruction. This covers the principles of refrigeration, control devices, system components, system repairs and more.
We offer more than just in-person training courses at NAC Appliance Training. Our online courses are ideal for engineers at any level in their careers, from beginners to those looking to add skills and expertise to their current work.
Because you’re with the best! You’ve seen the appliance repair courses we have to offer, but what makes this the right place to come and learn your trade? For one thing, we can often not only train you to an in-depth standard, and a standard that’s been assured by City & Guilds and Accredited by CPD, but we can also help you get a job, whether it’s through us directly, (subject to vacancies), or through partner companies or enrolling you onto our NAC Independent Network of self-employed engineers.
Meanwhile, when it comes to practical experience, for a one-off fee to cover the day and insurances, we can even arrange to send you out in a van to buddy up with one of our experienced local engineers to get a taste of the real world that you are training for as well as invaluable practical tips and tricks.
Even after you leave us, upon completion of your white good repair training course, you’re still a part of our community if you join our graduate Facebook Group. This gives you access to a network of fellow professionals to swap stories, knowledge and experiences with, long after you have qualified.
