We are the UK’s Largest CPD Accredited Domestic Appliance Repair Training Centre for both new entrants wanting to join the industry via our 10 Day intensive Foundation Training and for existing Engineers wanting to expand skill-sets.
All of our CPD Accredited Courses start in a clean, modern, air conditioned classroom environment where we will present our theory training via our self developed, very modern and up-to-date PowerPoint Presentations. For all courses, all theory presentations cover all aspects of the practical training we will move on to including – Safety, Identifying, understanding and testing of components related to the product type that we are covering.
Who are NAC? Quite simply, NAC is now the largest independent, self generating, self sufficient National Service Provider in the UK currently booking and administrating thousands of repairs nation-wide, month after month. NAC has grown from a small business providing a handful of Engineers work on a daily basis to now having a 200+ Network of Engineers, made up of Employed and Self-Employed Engineers. Our 10 Day Foundation Training is by far the most popular for new entrants as it covers all the appliance groups in one, 10 day sitting.
Our Refrigeration Training is a close second for those already in the industry that do not currently repair refrigeration products. Being able to repair refrigeration products in the Domestic Appliance Repair Industry is essential as they are probably the range of products that attract a higher repair rate and see-through rate when you deal with members of the public for out of warranty repairs.
Installation and Safety Testing / Use of Meters again target the current Engineer audience that are involved in the delivery / installation or 1st line repair for domestic appliances.
10 Day intensive training covering all aspects of Domestic Appliance Repair from Health and Safety to actual on-site repairs
1 Day intensive course covering Safe Isolation, Earth Loop, Insulation and Earth Continuity Testing and use of Multimeters at component level
1 Day intensive course on basic plumbing, safe isolation and safety testing for the removal and installation of new or replacement appliances
2 Day intensive course covering refrigeration processes, controls, systems and re-charging refrigerant (R600a)
David has been involved with the industry since the late nineties and joined Comet in 2000 and gained a vast understanding of multi-brand servicing. David has worked for BSH and Miele before joining NAC.
Specialist Refrigeration Engineer
Dan started out with GDHA before moving to Miele and then on to NAC. Dan is trained to work on F-Gas systems, is Gas Safe Registered is passionate about electrical safety.
Gas Safe Engineer
Adrian spent many years as an independent repairer before working with Manufacturers and Nationwide Service Providers before joining NAC. Adrian is passionate about site safety and field training.

Quite simply – No. There is no requirement for anyone to have any previous experience or qualifications. Lots of very good Engineers have entered the industry without either and have gone on to have very enjoyable and successful careers.
Unfortunately, there is no guarantee of a job after completion of training and we would never want anyone to enrol on a course on that basis… However, in comparison to any other independent training centre, NAC is unique in the respect that we are the largest independent repair business in the UK and we are always looking for new, talented staff so depending on the area in which you live and the outcome of the course, there could be an offer made after completion if we have an opportunity in your home area.
Other than NAC, we know a lot of businesses in the UK, so even if we do not have an open vacancy for a Trainee, we may be able to send you in the direction of someone that does.
We have also partnered with a Recruitment Company that can enrol you on to their Database and actively seek new opportunities for you.

Absolutely! If you pass any assessment, then you will be rewarded with a CPD Accredited Certificate for the applicable course! One to definitely show off to prospective employers!
No… While you are at the NAC National Training Centre, we will provide all tooling and testing equipment.
The only things you have to bring is your PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as per your booking requirement. Should you not have any PPE, you will be able to buy some on arrival as we cannot proceed with practical training without it.
